Since the early nineties , she ads been the rediscovery and the relaunch of an ancient decorative art of Piedmont, the bandera embroidery ,the embroidery for furnishings beginnings of the XVIII century. This success initiative has given the chance to open in Turin the first school of Bandera embroidery with a laboratory of renovation .Now this embroidery is very famous in Italy thanks to schools, associations and laboratories created by the students of the school in Turin.. In 2005 she has represented the Piedmont in Rome as chairman to the conference by Italia Nostra “ Old trades: the textile culture between tradition and innovation, which future ?”, in the presence of lady Franca Chiampi and the political and institutional authorities of the branch.

The ability of Consolata Pralormo to unite together handicraft work with an artistic taste, received her recognition when, with the Ronchey Law, some museums assigned her the first merchandise to represent the exhibitions offered by the different museums .She founded the Consolata Pralormo Design that is finalized to the planning and the organization of events , shows , festivals ,many of which taken place in the family castle.

These initiative are strictly connected with the devotion of Consolata Pralormo for the exploitation of the residence of family: the castle of the counts of Pralormo. The total income of the opening to the public are destined for the recovery and the renovation of the castle, that now it is self managed, this use guarantees the preservation so each people, visiting the castle, contribute to protection and maintenance of his small part.

The recognition the validity of her job, on the occasion of the semester of Italian presidency of European Union, aspired of the program chosen by the government to represent Italy is inserted in the project “mise en place “in which every Italian regions s invited to San Petersburg e then in Brussels to expose the preparation of the tables from the most beautiful manufactures. The project for the Piedmont represented by Consolata Pralormo.

Besides has made part of the errand founded by the region Piedmont for the editing of the disciplinary ones of the program “artisan excellence “for the textile sector she is still active member of the scientific committee of the prestigious European Institute of Design for the fashion industry.

In 2006 she has been called has ambassador to contribute to the reception of Olympic winter games Turin 2006, she has started besides in contacts in Holland to get a tulip devoted to the city of Turin and has been conferred her by the Room of Commerce of Turin with the Bogianen prize.

She being proud in to make part of one of the most ancient families in the piedmont to move forward to the future and supporting the value of the people of the Piedmont ,ambassadress of the refinement during the frequent trip s of job in the world and the great ability of the piedmontese people.

These whole initiatives has been successful a lot of public a comment of critics and experts, consolidating the role as leader of the piedmontese cultural life.

Consolata Pralormo design it has by now a decennial experience and in the organization of events, shows and many exhibition which have taken place to the Pralormo castle.

Many event have been organized in other centers characterized to the safeguard for the historical and artistic patrimony of the Piedmont that is a resource for the future.
